On Roosted, depending on your company settings, you may have the option to bailout. You can find the bailout button to the right of the Check In button.

If your company does not use the bailout system or the shift falls within a locked bailout period, the button will appear in black font.

If the system is active and the shift is outside the locked period, the button will be displayed in red font.

If the bailout button is locked, you will receive a message indicating that the bailout option is unavailable for this shift.

This message will also provide contact information specific to your company and may include a warning messag.

The above contact information is for example purposes only. DO NOT contact support@roostedhr.com to bailout.

If a bailout is available, after clicking you will be prompted to confirm and you may be shown a warning message from your company.

If you confirm the bailout, this shift will be removed from your My Shifts and your company may be sent a notification that you have bailed out from this shift.

Mobile App

On the Mobile App - on your CURRENT SHIFTS - you will also see the BAIL OUT button.

If your company does not use the bailout system or if bailouts are locked for the shift's period, the option will be greyed out.

In this case, tapping the greyed-out option will display your company's HR contact information, to reach out to them directly.

If the BAILOUT button is available, it will appear in blue as shown below.

To bailout, tap & confirm.

It is very important to bear in mind that if you bail out from a shift, this may affect your Roosted rating and damage your ability to pick up shifts in the future.
