What is the best way to set up your shift notifications?

From the settings page, you can adjust how you would like to use Shift Update Notifications. Navigate to Configuration -> Settings -> Worker Communication -> Shift Update Notification.

On this page, you can toggle Active on or off to choose whether to use these notifications. If toggled on, you can adjust the following settings. If turned off, the settings will be greyed out.

Settings:

  1. If push notification is not available, send updates via text message (in addition to email)

    • If toggled on, workers will receive text messages if push notifications are disabled, in addition to email updates.

  2. Limit updates to events that are occurring soon

    • If toggled on, you can adjust the time frame using the sliding scale below this setting. For example, if set to 24 hours, workers will only receive text/push notifications about shifts starting within the next 24 hours.

    • If toggled off, workers will receive notifications for all future scheduled events.

  3. Only send updates via text message if the shift occurs within:

    • Use the sliding scale to set the time frame for sending text notifications about event changes. This setting is available if the above setting is toggled on.

If you require the sliding scale to extend beyond the maximum, contact your Client Success Specialist or open a support ticket.
