How to onboard your imported workers?

Onboarding is to get your workers logged in for the first time! Make sure you have turned Silence/Testing mode off so the communication will be sent.

Silence/testing mode is Configuration -> Settings -> Worker Communication -> Scroll to Silence/Testing Mode. From here you can turn it off and on.

Onboarding Process

Go to the "Workers" section to see everyone - the yellow icon next to the picture will show if the worker has been onboarded or not - hoover at it to see the details.

You can select single, multiple, or all workers.

Next, click X selected workers and Onboard workers from the dropdown.

A pop-up window with the process explained will appear, and it will show the option to include text messages (it is recommended to use text messages as some workers may not always check their emails).

Next, the Email/Text page will show, where editing of the information sent to the workers can be done.

The pre-written message includes information on how the worker can access their account, download the Roosted App, password, and login information among others.

By scrolling down on this box, you can set a password for all workers for the first time login. Later they will be automatically asked to change their password.

Click on "Text" to create a text message to send to workers. For those who did not log in, the link and message can be resent by repeating the onboarding steps with the worker selected.

By sending a text message, it will automatically ask workers who do not have emails to add their email addresses.

This process includes a worker receiving a link - when clicked it will redirect them to a screen to add the email address. After it is added, the email will be sent out.

When you are happy with how you have formatted the Email & Text, click Send and you will see the success message appear.

And that is how you onboard workers through Roosted!
