For every event you create, you can assign a Reviewer. This person will be on-site and is trusted to submit 1-5 star reviews, provide comments, and mark workers as late or absent.

Key Points:

  • The Reviewer does not need to be an admin but must have a Roosted profile.

  • To assign a Reviewer:

    1. When creating or editing an event, click on the Reviewer field.

    2. Enter the name of the person you want to assign.

    3. Once assigned, a red X will appear to the right of the Reviewer box if you need to remove them.

Depending on your company settings, you can allow the Reviewer to punch workers in and out if they have difficulty using their mobile devices. To enable this setting:

  1. Navigate to Configuration.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Select Time Tracking.

  4. Turn on Allow reviewers to punch in/out workers on their shifts.

See Time Punches for more information.

If a worker is assigned as an Event Reviewer, they can view their Pending Reviews on their homepage after the event has finished. Access is possible from both, the Desktop and Mobile App from the profile or dashboard view.

See Admin/Owner Dashboard for more information.

Submitting Reviews

A list of events awaiting reviews for will show in the Pending Reviews section.

After an event finishes, reviewers can access their pending reviews from their Dashboard. Here’s how they can review:

  1. Select the Event: You’ll see details including the event name, location, and date. Click Review to start.

  2. Enter Review Details:

    • Star Rating (Required): Choose a rating from 1 to 5 by hovering over the stars and clicking to select.

    • Comments (Optional): Add any comments about the worker(s) in the comments box.

    • Late (Optional): Toggle Late on if the worker was late. This will turn the toggle yellow.

    • No Show (Optional): Toggle No Show on if the worker did not attend their shift. This will significantly affect the worker’s overall rating and be noted by admins for future scheduling.

    • Flag for Review (Optional): Toggle Flag for Review on if there are issues with the worker that HR should address. This will notify admins via email.

  3. Submit Reviews: Ensure you have provided at least a star rating for each worker. Click Submit Reviews to finalize.

Once you submit a review, the event will be removed from the Pending Reviews list, while other pending reviews will remain.

You can control the visibility of star ratings and comments for workers by going to Configuration - Settings - Worker Interaction - Reviews & Stars Visibility.

See Reviews & Stars Visibility for more information.

And that is how you use an Event Reviewer to get feedback on your workers through Roosted! 😃
