What are preferred workers?

Preferred workers allow you to open a shift signup to only the workers of your choice.

How to use preferred workers?

From the event edit page, when you are filling shifts click "No preferred workers"

Next, Select a Workers who have the matching skillset to work this shift.

You will see a list of workers with availability for the shift.

You can also see workers already booked on another shift.

Once you choose workers that you would like to work this shift, select an expiry date on this offer by toggling "Expires?" on.

When you toggle expiry on, set an expiry date and time on this offer to workers.

Click Save Selection:

Once the shift is published, workers will receive a notification with the shift details. It will also appear in their available shifts.

After the initial notification period expires, all workers with the relevant skill set will be able to sign up or request the shift, depending on your company settings.

Setting Preferred & Banned Workers:

  1. Manually adding (applicable for preferred workers only) - as explained above

  2. Through the Clients page.

  3. Accepting clients' feedback submitted through the Client Portal.

Through the Clients page (Admin bar - Clients - Clients):

  • Click the wrench on the right and enter the Workers section.

  • Drag and drop workers into the preferred or banned section.

Owners and Admins can drag and drop workers to and from the Preferred or Banned list.

  • Preferred workers are those who work well with the client and perform exceptionally.

  • Banned workers are those who do not work well with the client or had a negative experience, and you do not want to assign them to future events for that client.

Accepting client feedback:

After ay event, the client can provide feedback on the workers - whether they prefer or ban a worker.

If the client leaves feedback, it will show on the Dashboard under Client Preferred & Banned Workers.

If you click Accept on the green thumbs up, it will add the worker to the client's Preferred list and will mark them as preferred for this client's events.

If on the red thumbs down, the worker will be added to that client's Banned list and will not be able to see future events with that client.

You can always reverse accepting the client's feedback through Client Preferred & Banned Workers, by dragging and dropping workers from the edit client page.
