How to approve or reject Time Off requests of your workers?

Time Off Manager provides a comprehensive view of time off requests from your workers. In the main Time Off Manager display, you can easily approve or deny requests and view all Pending, Approved, and Rejected time off requests.

To access the Time Off Manager module:

  1. Go to the blue Admin bar on the left-hand side.

  2. Navigate to Scheduling.

  3. Select Time Off Manager.

Here, you can efficiently manage and review all time off requests categorized as Pending, Approved, or Rejected.

From here, we can easily see Pending, Approved & Rejected Time Off Requests

All time off requests will include the following details:

  • Worker's Name: The individual who submitted the request.

  • Request Type: What the worker is requesting (e.g., vacation, personal time).

  • Submission Date: When the request was submitted.

  • Reason: Any reason or explanation provided by the worker.

Approving a Time Off Request:

Approving a time off request is straightforward: click the tick box next to the request and then select Approve Request.

This will move the request from Pending to Approved.

Rejecting a Time Off Request

Rejecting a time off request is by clicking the X and Reject Request.

This will move the request from Pending to Rejected.

Approved Time Off Requests

Approved Time Off Requests are those that you have approved. They will display the following details:

  • Worker's Name: The name of the worker who made the request.

  • Coverage Period: The start and end dates of the approved time off.

  • Approval Date and Time: When the request was approved.

  • Reason: Any reason provided by the worker for the time off.

You can also reject an approved time off by clicking the X and Reject Request.

This will move the request from Approved to Rejected.

Rejected Time Off Requests

Rejected Time Off Requests are those that you have declined. They will display the following details:

  • Worker's Name: The name of the worker who made the request.

  • Coverage Period: The start and end dates of the rejected time off.

  • Rejection Date and Time: When the request was rejected.

  • Reason: Any reason provided by the worker for the time off.

You can also change a rejected request to an approved one by clicking the tick box next to the request and selecting Accept Request.

This will move the request from Rejected to Approved.
