Announcements & Chats for the best communication with your workers.

In this article, we will explain how you can use Announcements & Chats to communicate information to your workers.

When logged as an admin or owner, you can click the chat bubbles in the top right and pop up window will appear:

You will be able to see Notifications & Announcements as well as a list of all the chats that you have created or are added to.

Creating a new chat

To create a new chat just click + Chat button.

You can filter the participants you want to add by skillsets or name. To add a person to the chat, just tick the box next ton their name.

If creating the chat, you will be automatically added as a participant.

After adding workers, you can name the chat box and see the list of workers that have been selected.

By clicking on the wrench icon, the chat can be edited - the participants and the name previously selected. You can also turn off the notifications by clicking the bell icon.

To start the chat just send a message - below it, you will see an exact sending time.

You can also delete a chat by clicking the trash can on the top right side.

Creating a new Announcement

To create an Announcement click + Announcement button.

You can choose to send it to Everybody or only to particular skillsets. You can also send SMS by clicking the checkbox to the right.

When creating the announcement, you can define where the replies will be sent to - admin or an account owner.

Chat replies apply to PUSH NOTIFICATIONS ONLY. Replies received by email will be directed to the HR email listed on your HR section which can be found by navigating to Configuration -> Company Info.

You can enter the title and add the message itself in the designated area - you can also add links and pictures, that will be distributed to all people at once.

Clicking Send will confirm the operation and when successful, you will see a green box in the right top corner.

You can view a list of your sent announcements from your Communication Center by entering Configuration -> Communication Center -> SENT GROUP MESSAGES.

By default, the announcements will be sent by email & push notification - if you select 'Also send by SMS' it will only send it to where the push notification cannot be received - the worker has disabled push notifications or has not downloaded the app.

Event Chats

Event Chats are another way of forwarding information to your workers scheduled for an event. You can quickly and easily send last-minute information to chosen, or all workers. Please see Event Chats for more information!
