Let's dive into the worker's communication through event chats!

Event Chats are an easy way of forwarding information to your workers scheduled for an event. You can quickly and easily send last-minute details to several or all workers.

Creating an event chat

On the Main Event Page, you can create an event chat by clicking CREATE CHAT.

The chat box on the right-hand side will appear, showing all the workers scheduled for this event, including the person creating the chat. You can select or deselect people that you wish to chat with.

In the Next Step, you can name the chat - by default, it is the name of the Event.

The "Automatically add workers that join this event" option adds newly added workers and removes the ones who bailed out or were removed.

Click the Create Chat button and all set - you just created an event chat and you can send messages to your workers!

The messages are sent along with a timestamp and the notifications can be turned off/on by clicking the bell icon.

The wrench icon will allow you to edit the chat name and members.

To delete the chat, click the trash can on the top right-hand side.

This is how you can use Event Chats to communicate information to your workers on specific events at Roosted! 😎
