Client orders are placed by your customer through the Client Portal.

From the Client Orders, you can see order details: the date of the ordered event, when the order was placed, the client's name, and information about what is required with the order.

Searching & filtering orders

You can manage and view orders using the following features:

  • Search by Order Name: Type into the search bar to find specific orders.

  • Filter Orders: Click the order type dropdown to filter by:

    • ALL ORDERS

    • NEW ORDERS

  • Sort Orders: Click the order event dropdown to sort by:

    • Event Date Oldest First

    • Event Date Newest First

    • Order Placed Oldest First

    • Order Placed Newest First

Order Details

All placed orders will display the following information:

  • NAME: The name associated with the order.

  • LOCATION: The location of the event.

  • DATE PLACED: When the order was placed.

  • EVENT DATE: The date of the event.

  • INTERNAL ORDER ID: The unique identifier for the order.

  • ORDER PLACED: Details of the order.

  • ORDER: Additional specifics related to the order.

The status of the order will also be shown. For example, in the display below, the order is marked as NEW.

Clicking Order Details will open additional information:

1. The exact location:

2. Any comments from the client:

3. And the option to accept or decline the order:

Accepting an order

To accept an order:

  1. Click "Accept Order."

  2. Confirm by clicking "Accept Order" again.

This action will:

  • Send an email notification to the client.

  • Create an event with all unpublished shifts, allowing you to make any necessary changes.

Back on the Client Orders page, you will see that the order has been approved which will appear in a green box.

To decline an order:

  1. Click "Decline Order."

  2. Confirm by clicking "Decline Order" again.

This will send an email to the client informing them that the order has been declined.

On the Client Orders page, you will see that the declined order is marked with a red box, indicating its status.

And that's how you use the Client Orders page in Roosted.
