Welcome to the client portal article in Roosted!

The client portal is an easy way for your customers to submit and track orders and provide feedback on previously scheduled events.

When the client accepts the invitation, they will be asked to create a username and password to log in to the portal. In case of a forgotten password, it won't be possible to reset it from the client's view. To reset the credentials, please open a support ticket.

When logged in, your client can edit their details by clicking the user icon in the top right corner -> User Profile.

From this view, personal data can be adjusted.

From the main page, the client can submit new orders, see a list of their placed orders or change any of the information through the settings page.

Submitting New Orders

To submit a new order the Event Name, Date, Location name, and Address must be filled. Optionally, order ID, and comments sections can be submitted.

The clients can also add, modify, and delete shifts to their orders.

Adding a shift

Adding a shift is easily done by clicking the "add shift" button, and selecting from the dropdown a skillset to be added.

Adjusting a shift

When a shift has been added, the client can easily change the quantity of workers needed, or enter the start time and optional ending time.

Deleting a shift

To delete an added shift, just click on the red "trashcan" button located on the right side.

When all information has been entered, your client can hit SUBMIT ORDER.

When the client clicks SUBMIT ORDER, it will appear as a new order in your CLIENT ORDERS from the Admin's side.

Orders

From the orders page in the List view, clients can easily track their current, new, and past orders. For the past ones, the feedback on workers can also be added.

Tracking an order

At the top of this page, clients can search orders by name, type, or sort according to their needs.

After choosing an event, the details entered while creating the event will be shown.

The Client Portal will include orders that the customers have placed but also orders that you have placed on their behalf.

If you assign a client to a newly created event, it will also be shown in the Client's Portal.

Feedback

Clients can also provide feedback on workers who have worked at their events.

Click on Order Details on a passed event to see a list of workers who worked that day.

Here the workers can be evaluated - thumb up will mark them as preferred, and thumb down as banned. When a client evaluates a worker, it is visible only as a suggestion. An admin or owner-level account will be able to either accept or ignore this feedback.
