Settings related to publishing your shifts.

In this article, we'll explain how to adjust your Shift Publishing Settings.

Shift Publishing allows you to work on and edit shifts while they are unpublished. You can make adjustments to details before publishing them.

To adjust your settings, navigate to Configuration - Settings - Admin - Shift Publishing.

From this page, you can:

  • Shifts Start Automatically as Published:

    • On: shifts will be automatically published, and visible to workers with the relevant skillsets, rules, or tags you’ve set or are on your Preferred Workers list.

    • Off: shifts won't be published automatically - you will need to press the "Publish" button on the event manually.

  • Email Workers When a Shift Has Been Published:

    • On: Workers assigned will receive an email notification when shifts are published.

    • Off: Workers will not receive email notifications for published shifts.

  • If Push Notifications Are Not Available, Text Workers When a Shift is Published:

    • On: Workers will receive a text message if push notifications are not enabled or if they have not downloaded the mobile app.

    • Off: Workers will not receive text messages or push notifications.
