Adjusting Your Invite to Work Settings

The Invite to Work feature allows you to offer shifts to workers even if you're unsure of their availability. This feature sends an invitation that the worker can either accept or decline.

In this article, we’ll walk you through how to adjust your Invite to Work settings. To access these settings:

  1. Navigate to Configuration.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Go to Worker Communication.

  4. Click on Invite to Work.

Here’s what you can customize:

1. Send Email for Invite to Work

  • Enabled: Workers will receive an email with the invite. The email includes a link for the worker to accept or decline the shift.

2. Send Text Message for Invite to Work

  • Enabled: Workers will receive a text message with the invite if push notifications are not available or the app is not downloaded. The text message will include different codes for accepting or declining the shift.

3. Push Notifications

  • When a push notification is sent with an invite to work, workers can tap the notification to be taken directly to the shift, where they can accept or decline it.

4. Email Admins When Invite is Accepted

  • Enabled: Event admins will receive an email notification when a worker accepts an invite.

5. Email Admins When Invite Expires or is Declined

  • Enabled: Event admins will receive an email notification when an invite either expires or is declined.

By configuring these settings, you can streamline the process of inviting workers to shifts and ensure that all relevant parties are informed of the worker's response.
