The Invite to Work feature allows you to offer shifts to workers even if you're unsure of their availability. This feature sends an invitation that the worker can either accept or decline.

How Does It Work?

Notifications can be sent via text message and/or email, allowing a worker to accept or reject the invite. If the worker rejects the invite or the invite expires, the opening will become available to other workers.

How Do You Send an Invite?

To send an invite, go to the event page and click on the grey box labeled "Click to Fill" in an open shift spot.

Click on the worker that you want to fill this particular shift and invite them to work.

When the setting is toggled off, the invite duration is not adjustable. However, when you toggle this setting on, a sliding scale will appear. You can drag the slider to set how long you want the invite to last before it expires. The slider will look like the image below.

Once you have decided on a timeframe (2 days in the example above), click DONE. A confirmation will appear, detailing that the worker has been invited and given 2 days to accept or decline before the invite expires. When you are satisfied with this, click ADD SELECTED.

When you click ADD SELECTED, you will be brought back to the main event page. Here, you will see that the worker is marked as Pending Invite, indicated by the grey envelope icon.

If the worker does not reply within the timeframe you have set, their invite will expire and they will automatically be removed from the shift.

If you need a longer invite period than your current maximum, you can contact your Client Success Specialist or open a support ticket to adjust the limit.

You can adjust your Invite to Work settings.
