The Side By Side View functions the same as the Calendar View but presents shifts in a condensed format, allowing you to see shifts for the same day or over the weekend side by side.

In Side By Side View, all events from the current day onwards are visible.

It shows details: the event date, name, earliest shift start time, the number of workers scheduled, and the total number of workers needed.

As shown above, the 3 events have available spots - 6/7, 8/10 & 10/23. To see multiple events, you can simply click each event and they will appear side by side:

CREATING AN EVENT

A new event can be created by clicking the + on the top left. Enter the Event Name, Event Date & Venue.

Once done, click Next, and add a Client, Areas, Job ID, or Event Comment for Workers. Choose Finish and the event is created.

Add shifts & select the skillset in Add Skillset/Shifts:

Set start time, and optional end time. Adjust the number of workers you need and alternates, or add any comments to the shift. Once done, click Create Shift.

Once the shift is created, you can add as many skillsets as you need:

Assign or Invite Workers by clicking Add Workers, and add Preferred Workers by clicking Open To All Workers.

Set Sign-Up Bot by clicking Details on the left side - Sign Up Bot - Allow Sign-Up Bot.

From the Details page, adjust shift details or change Shift Comments by clicking Basic Info.

Once you've reviewed and updated the info, click Publish to make the shift visible to workers. This allows them to see their assignments or sign up/request to work the shift.

See Shift Publishing for more information.
