In this article, we’ll cover how to approve shift requests. Shift requests are shifts that workers have asked to work.

Shift requests can be approved in two ways.

  1. On the event

  2. On the event:

Through the event edit screen, you can approve a request by clicking an open spot.

You can filter to only show workers who have requested the shift by clicking the check box that says 'Only show requests'.

To approve the request click on the worker and choose add selected.

The worker will be added to this shift.

In Request Manager, you can filter and view shift requests in various ways:

  • Show Requests: Click the dropdown menu to the right of the blue arrows to choose how to display requests. You can select from:

    • Shift Date

    • Worker Name

    • Location

    • Event

To approve a shift request, click the blue tick next to the worker's name on the request and then click "Confirm."

When you accept a worker for the last open spot and there are other workers who have also requested the shift, the system will prompt you to choose whether to leave the remaining workers as backups or reject their requests.
