In this article, we will go through The Configuration Module. It is a crucial part of your Roosted account, a base of how you use this powerful tool. Configuration can be found on the blue bar on the left side.
Configuration is broken up into the following categories:
Settings
Please pay particular attention to the settings page, as this is vital for customizing your Roosted account to work for you!
On the settings page, you can adjust various options to tailor your Roosted experience to your preferences. This ensures your account is configured to meet your specific needs and workflow.

Venues
Venues are the locations where your events take place. Each venue includes details such as the name, address, timezone, and any additional comments you may want to include. To view and manage your venues, go to Configuration - Venues.

Skillsets
Skillsets are positions or roles that you can fill on an event. If we need 5 Servers and 2 Bartenders. Server & Bartender would be considered skillsets.

Comment Templates
Comment templates are pre-saved sets of information that you can add to any event to be viewed by your workers. they can contain information about the uniforms, parking, entrance codes, or anything you could need to pass to everyone before the event!

Blogs
Roosted includes a corporate blog that can be used as a newsletter or a way of communication with your workers. The blog gives admins the ability to post, edit, and delete posts to the blog.

Documents
Your employer uploads company documents, which may include the handbook or payroll information. They can be viewed and downloaded from your account & Mobile App.

Custom Fields
Custom fields are used to track additional information - they can be understood as a requirement that you may have for your Workers, Events, or Clients.

Payroll Groups
Payroll groups are used to assign wage groups, advanced payroll rules, and invoice costs and IDs.

βThe Credentialing system is where we can upload and store credential information for workers.
Credentials can be things such as background checks, DMB certifications, and even nursing licenses.
This is particularly useful for Healthcare and many of our customers who have specific requirements for their workers.

Wage types are how Roosted decides what wage a worker should receive for a shift.
